Outdoor Lighting Installation
One of our professional designers will meet with you to discuss your ideas and incorporate them with our years of experience. We always consider the architecture, the current and future plant growth, and the view from inside and outside of your home while creating a warm welcoming home with curb appeal for years to come. We will install high quality fixtures which are placed out of view, safe from playing children, pets and lawn care equipment. All material is guaranteed to be as specified.
All installations will be completed in a professional and efficient manner with great care taken to protect existing plantings, walkways, pavers and landscaped area. Amperage, voltage and locations of each wire run will be recorded at the transformer. We understand that your lifestyle can be very busy; therefore, we install an automatic timer and/or a photocell, leaving your outdoor lighting completely carefree for years.
All our outdoor lighting installations include the following:
Voltage Control: The system will be adjusted to deliver between 10.8 to 12.0 volts at each lamp to insure correct lamp operation, color and life.
Wiring: High-quality direct bury field and fixture wires shall be installed at a maximum depth of six inches. Sleeve material will be included, where necessary, to prevent damage to the field wire from maintenance operations. All fixtures contain crimped and soldered connections in the fixture and fixture wires terminate at protected voltage distribution boxes to ensure no failures of splice points.
Transformers: We install all stainless steel or black powder coated, UL listed multi-tap transformers with ultra-safe isolated secondary winding, magnetic circuit breakers or fuses with optional timer and photocell on-off controls. Transformers windings are warranted for 25 years and electrical components for three years.
Fixtures: All fixtures are extremely durable, as manufactured by Cast, Kichler, Vista, Hadco, Focus, Unique and Lightcraft Lighting. Each Manufacturer offers warranties specific to their product. Please consult with your lighting designer to discuss each warranty.
Splice Enclosures: Wire splices will be installed using PVC voltage distribution boxes. This Installation technique insures even voltage distribution and even light output. Only 20 amp rated Teflon filled splices are used.
Bulbs: Included is the replacement of any lamp that fails during the first month at no charge! All warranties will be voided if bulbs are replaced by other than Greg Tanzer Sprinklers and Outdoor Design personnel.
